Aeroplane Trips
Many families like to go on holiday and thus they may be required to take a flight.
As with any form of public transport this can cause anxiety for someone with autism. Taking time to prepare prior to the trip by using a social narrative may alleviate some of this anxiety and having visual instructions when going to the airport so they know the routine will also be helpful. If possible, you could visit the airport prior to the trip or watch videos about airports to make them more familiar with the sights and sounds.
